Method - Experimental design
1st trial session /R1/:
- basic biometric data, personal history, EPI questionnaire
- exercise test (0.5 , 1 and 1.5 W/kg + short load-incremental maximal test) on the cycle ergometer
- R1 protocol of RPE
2nd trial session /R2/:
- ”familiarization” : explanation + practice on the cycle ergometer
- cycling at the individual ”target” intensity (60% VO2max ) including warm-up and cool-down periods
- R2 protocol target RPE
3rd to 6th trial session /production trials P1-P4/ :
- exercise intensity regulation according to the target RPE, including warm-up and cool down periods (double-blind)
- P protocols of RPE
- feedback correction of their estimates
