Conclusions
The Borg RPE scale may serve as an aid in exercise testing and therapy for patients treated with beta-blockers.
However, for exercise intensity regulation, this method should be used with caution, as it is not suitable for some patients.
If this method is to be applied, we must always determine whether the individual is able to use it.
In order to improve the clinical use of RPE further research is needed.
