KTL (Department of Exercise Medicine) has several roles in healthcare, education and science.

Healthcare part splits into exercise testing of children and exercise testing followed by training adults, mainly patients with metabolic cardiovascular syndrome.

Educational part consists of general and special classes for physiotherapeutists, spetial classes for medical students and postdoc classes in exercise medicine (as a subdepartment of IPVZ).
